Let's Play Hot Wheels
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled the Phantom Drophead Coupé today in India, making this the first appearance of the new two-door, four-seat convertible here.
The launch of the new convertible model follows an exceedingly positive international reaction to the 100EX Experimental convertible car.
Rolls-Royce Regional Director for Asia Pacific, Colin Kelly, said, “The Phantom Drophead Coupé is entirely true to the values of Rolls-Royce and attracts a new segment of discerning clients, offering them an unparalleled motoring experience that combines compelling driveability with exceptional engineering, technology and design.”
The car has received overwhelming response worldwide from a newer, more diverse clientele base - more than half the orders placed for the car are from customers who have never owned a Rolls-Royce before - that production slots for the car have been fully allocated till 2008.
“We have received significant orders for new Phantom Drophead Coupés in Singapore with the first order expected to arrive here before the end of the year. This initial demand augurs well not only for Singapore, but for the region too,” continued Mr Kelly.
Exclusivity
Hand-crafted using the finest quality materials to the exacting standards of Rolls-Royce, the new Phantom Drophead Coupé is attracting new buyers to the brand. Only 200 cars are expected to be produced in a full manufacturing year.
Strength
Using the combination of lightweight rigidity and strength of an advanced all-aluminium spaceframe, the Phantom Drophead Coupé marries modern technology to a sleek, streamlined convertible body. Its exterior lines echo the timeless styling of the great Rolls-Royce cars: a long bonnet, large-diameter wheels, short front and long rear overhangs and the quintessential dynamic line descending along its flanks. Inside, the design emphasises the airy openness of top-down motoring, embracing the elements and creating a stunning, social environment.

Today we had the opportunity to speak with Saleisha Stowers the WINNER of Americas Next Top Model Season 9. Saleisha a 21 year old receptionist from Los Angeles, CA was the winner on Season 9 of Top Model announced Wednesday December 12th 2007.
HSL: So how did you get involved in the show?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): I was contacted by a casting director on the internet. They emailed me and asked me to audition so I sent in my information and ended making my way through the process.
HSL: Did you know you would end up as far as you did?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): I went into the competition being myself, I really wanted it so I always told them that. I also worked hard and did the best I could.
HSL, (RealityWanted.com): Who do you think was your biggest competition?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): I said at week number one that Chantal was my biggest competition and that we would be the last two standing. She had that fire for it.
HSL, (RealityWanted.com): What did you think when you saw the TV screen with your picture on it?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): I freaked out when I saw the screen. I was so nervous and when she said my name I was so happy. I went into the competition being confident and I knew I needed to stay focused in order to win. Obviously this is a great door opener, I have met with Covergirl, Seventeen and Elite Models.
HSL: What is the best advice you learned while being on the show?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): Just to be natural and be yourself. Know who you are and know your body. Also be able to take criticism and stay positive.
HSL): Do you think the judging was fair?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): I feel everything was done fair and I worked hard and deserved it. I did the best so people could see who I truly am on the show.
HSL: What was the most difficult part of the show for you?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): The whole transition into my new makeover. I wasn’t comfortable with the way I looked in the beginning but after awhile I got over it and was able to be confident again.
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): Be confident. Pretend like no one else is there and walk straight. Also practice a lot with high heals on. Go out there and fight
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): The Great Wall by far. It was such a great place to visit.
HSL: Do you think the competition has changed you and how have things been since arriving back to Los Angeles?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): The competition made me a better model. I am more knowledgeable of the modeling industry now and I can take critiques positively. It is weird though that everyone notices me now but I am so overjoyed.
HSL: So what are your plans after the show? Are you planning on continuing with modeling?
Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): Yes! I plan to work out of Los Angeles for awhile in modeling and see what doors open for me.

We Want Money
A California native, Money grew up in a musical family with both her father and sister looking to be future singers. Raised on everything from jazz to gospel, r&b to rock ‘n roll, Money’s biggest influence is Prince. She first started singing at age 15, but was not satisfied with only one aspect of performance rather she was determined to become an all-around entertainer. As time went on, she decided it was time to follow her dreams and pursue a career in the music industry. While taking dance classes at the famed Millenium Dance Studios in Los Angeles, Money met choreographer Dave Scott (You Got Served, Stomp The Yard) and his partner, stylist coordinator Keisha Gamble. Both saw the limitless potential in Money and quickly became in charge of her artistic development. Scott later introduced Money to the legendary Walter Milsap III, a meeting which would change her life forever.

HSL Must Have's
Alexander Mcqueen Skull Scarves Is Out Now!!!
Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and although you'd think you’re more likely to watch it to gawp at Captian Jack Sparrow than for style tips, it seems pirates are pretty fashionable these days…
The skull scarf has been tied, knotted, or slung over pretty much every star you can name (Sienna, Nicole Richie, Ashley Olsen, Lindsay Lohan and Johnny Depp himself of course!). The stars may covet skull scarves by Alexander Mcqueen and Thomas Wylde, but skulls are going mainstream, not only on scarves, but shoes, tees and anything else you fancy really.
